THE SECRET Lives of Mormon Wives is coming in hot as it’s set to feature Ben Affleck’s cousin, Zac, and his wife, Jen.
The two are famously known for being caught up in a “swinger sex scandal” that shook up the Mormon mom influencers community.
Last month, Hulu revealed they were launching a new series, The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, featuring eight Mormon mom influencers.
One mom in particular is Jen Affleck, wife to Zac and second cousin-in-law to A-lister Ben Affleck.
Zac’s father is the first cousin of the actor and his brother, Casey.
In a statement obtained by People, Jen shared that she’s “excited to talk about the things that have happened in my relationship,” referring to the swinging sex scandal which happened after the show was filmed.
“It feels like we got ten years of marriage counseling in this one season of filming.”
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is scheduled to premiere on September 6.
According to the show’s official synopsis, the series follows the “scandalous world of a group of Mormon mom influencers implodes when they get caught in the midst of a swinging sex scandal that makes international headlines.
“Now their sisterhood is shook to its core. Faith, friendship and reputations are all on the line.”
In addition to Jen, the series will also feature Layla Taylor, Demi Engemann, Mayci Neeley, Jessi Ngatikaura, Mikayla Matthews, Whitney Leavitt, and Taylor Frankie Paul.
Jen and the girls rose to prominence on TikTok after they documented their lives as Mormon wives and mothers, birthing the hashtag MomTok.
Jen has two kids, Nora and Lucas Lowell, whom she shares with Zac.
She and Zac got engaged on January 1, 2019, in New York City, where Ben’s cousin popped the question at the Top of the Rock attraction.
Later that year, the couple got married in Newport Beach, California, on June 28.
While the two seem to have a well-rounded relationship on social media, the Hulu trailer showcases tension between the young pair.
During the teaser, Zac shares his disapproval of Jen’s MomTok friends.
However, Jen argues the importance of their friendship and career, to which Zac responded, “Being divorced and taking care of two kids is going to be kind of tough, so you make the decision.”
SEX SCANDAL
The scandal began in 2022 after MomTok frontrunner Taylor Frankie Paul revealed she was divorcing her ex-husband, Tate Paul.
During a TikTok livestream, Taylor shared with her followers that the divorce was prompted by his involvement in “soft swinging” among the MomTok community.

According to the TikTok star, Taylor shared that she and Tate agreed they wouldn’t “go all the way” with the other members.
“The whole group was intimate with each other,” she revealed in a live stream.
“Tate has made out with several girls and other things, and I’ve made out with all of the husbands and vice versa.”
However, she revealed that she “did step out of that agreement.”
Two months after the news went viral, Taylor revealed the man she “cheated with” was her new boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen.
In a statement from People about how the show blossomed, Taylor said she wants viewers “to have a better understanding of who I am.
“I want to be vulnerable and show people that when you hit rock bottom, there is hope.”
