THE Cavinder twins are putting in the grind ahead of their return to college basketball.

Hanna and Haley, 23, recently announced that they are both set to make a comeback a year after leaving Miami, Florida.

Hanna was the first to announce her impending return to the Hurricanes in an Instagram reel of some of her collegiate highlights from Miami and Fresno State.

“My last season of basketball was one of the most successful & challenging [years] of my life but it helped me grow immensely,” she wrote.

“The past few months I have been itching to get back to the game that I thought I lost the passion for.

“With that being said, I am returning for one more [season].

“I had a purpose before everyone had an opinion.”

Shortly afterward, Haley too announced she was returning for another shot at glory with the Miami Hurricanes.

In a statement on Instagram, she said, “Given the news yesterday that my sister was returning to play ball at Miami and after careful consideration and thought, I’ve decided to return to the Unversity of Miami and play with Hanna for our final and 5th year.

“There is nothing more important than family and the bond I share with my Twin sister.

“Being presented with the opportunity to play together one more time is something I cannot pass up.”

In order to play alongside Hanna once again, Haley has to transfer from TCU, where she committed to play this upcoming season in November 2023.

However, it seems there is no bad blood between Haley and the Horned Frogs, with the twins having recently worked out at their facility in Fort Worth.

Over the weekend, the twins shared updates from their preparation for the season on their joint Instagram Stories, including a breakdown of their workout schedule.

The whiteboard snap listed power crunches, side planks with cables, medicine ball throws, single-leg dumbbell Romanian deadlifts, barbell hip thrusts, push-ups, lateral lunges, and chin-ups among others.

According to their Stories, the sisters have hit the gym every day this month.

After a riverside walk, they made their way to the TCU gymnasium on Sunday, hitting the basketball court.

But amidst these grueling workouts, the sisters also made sure to take time to themselves, sharing a glamorous snap of them posing together captioned, “From last night.”

They also gave their followers a glimpse into how they start their days, sharing a snap of three books lined up alongside a bowl of protein oats.

“Every single morning it never gets old,” they captioned a subsequent snap of the blueberry-topped breakfast.

Come Monday it was back to the court, with another snap from TCU’s gymnasium.

Being presented with the opportunity to play together one more time is something I cannot pass up.

The twins initially announced they were closing the door on their collegiate careers following the 2022-23 season – their sole year with Miami after transferring from Fresno State.

As members of the WWE‘s Next In Line program, they subsequently stepped up their wrestling training at their Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, before making their NXT Series debut in the summer.

However, while they remain listed as members of the WWE’s NIL program, whether or not this return to college affects their long-term plans to take on the wrestling world remains unclear.

Known for their glamorous social media content, the twins’ return to college will be followed closely by their 4.5 million TikTok followers, as well as another 1.95 million followers on Instagram, and more than 59,000 on X, formerly known as Twitter.
