A YOUTUBER has been piled on for reportedly dropping a fortune to have a rapper perform at his party – only for the show to last 5 minutes.

Jack Doherty is hitting back at a viral video that claims he spent $200,000 for Polo G to make a low-energy appearance at his Halloween party.

TikToker Brandon Conner shared a now-viral video where he accused Doherty of dropping a fortune for a five-minute performance[/caption]

The drama started on Friday when Doherty, a 21-year-old streamer, posted several TikToks announcing the Martin & Gina rapper was on his way to the party.

He had invited the artist, who has amassed billions of Spotify listens, to boost the launch of his new streaming app Parti.

Based on Doherty’s posts, the appearance appeared to go smoothly, but a couple of days later, another TikTok user made bizarre claims about the lengths Doherty went to score time with Polo G.

Brandon Conner told his 9 million followers that Doherty dropped the eye-watering sum just for the rapper to do next to nothing.

In the video that’s amassed over 700,000 likes, Conner said Polo G “completely left” the function after performing for “maybe 5 minutes.”

He shared pictures that appeared to show the unamused rapper looking around aimlessly as the smug YouTuber proudly stood by his side.

“You could tell Polo G was just not feeling it at all,” Conner claimed.

TikTok users flooded the comments with snide remarks blasting Doherty for reportedly paying the rapper $50,000 per minute.

“I loved Polo G before but now I love him even more,” one amused TikToker wrote.

Another person said, “No one should be put in that situation.

“So glad Polo G got out of there as soon as possible.”

And another TikToker blasted, “I don’t know why these creators don’t make written contracts with performers.”

However, Doherty also took to the comments to defend himself from the backlash and squash rumors he wasted a fortune.

He blasted the baseless claim, saying, “I did not pay anywhere near $200k, lmao.”

The U.S. Sun has reached out to Doherty and Polo G for more information about the party.

However, Doherty hit back at the claim, and said he didn’t pay near that much money for the performance.

RISE TO FAME

Not only is Doherty known for his personal content but also for videos filmed with his model girlfriend McKinley Richardson.
