YESJULZ features in the new Netflix series W.A.G.s to Riches.
The eight-part reality series aired on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, and each episode follows the lives of the women married to Miami city’s most elite athletes, musicians, and power players.
Who is YesJulz?
Julieanna Goddard, 34, better known as YesJulz, was born in Miami, Florida, on March 2, 1990.
She attended the University of South Florida and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism.
YesJulz started her career by organising events and parties in Miami.
She was able to create unique experiences and had a talent for spotting trends.
She famously threw a party for Lebron James in 2014 to celebrate the basketball player’s collaboration with the popular drink company Sprite.
This propelled YesJulz into stardom and she was pictured with major A-list celebrities including Michael Bay and Norris Cole.
The event organiser became an A-lister herself after utilizing her social media platforms Snapchat and Instagram.
Followers were quickly drawn to her vibrant personality and engaging content.
It was because of her early success online that she was able to collaborate with high-ranking celebrities and gain sponsorship deals.
Who is YesJulz’s baby’s father?
YesJulz was engaged to NFL football player Duke Riley in 2021.
The pair got engaged at Miami’s Rolling Loud Music Festival in July 2021.
They had a baby girl together in April 2022 and named her Jo Riley.
However, a year later the influencer revealed that they had gone their separate ways.
YesJulz announced her breakup with the football player in May 2022,
They reunited at the beginning of 2024, however, she hinted that she was done with Duke when she posted a photo carousel on Instagram alongside the caption that read: “Single ladies gather here” on January 2, 2024.
Duke plays as a linebacker for the Miami Dolphins and is expected to earn around $2,500,000 for the 2024 season.
Why was YesJulz fired by Kanye West?
On March 12, 2024, Kanye West publicly cut ties with the party promoter and influencer and claimed she owed over $7 million to the Yeezy group.
The rapper accused YesJulz of violating a non-disclosure agreement.
She had previously been pivotal for the West brand in organizing exclusive events and promotional activities for his various projects, including his new album Vultures.
Taking to Instagram, Kanye wrote: “We have decided to no longer have YesJulz involved in the rollout of Vultures.
“All the activity on her page and with our fans in the past few days has been unauthorized.”
The reason for YesJulz’s termination remains unclear but reports suggest the NDA violations relate to an X spaces session that she hosted along with various Kanye fan accounts.
It’s been suggested that she tried to get fans to work with her for free, while also stating her visions for a “Yeezy Universe”.
YesJulz hit back against that accusation and said in a tweet addressing her dismissal: “I never wanted work done for free.
“I wanted to help the fans present their work to Ye. So that he could hire them.”
She added: “Anyone who has ever been in contact with me for as little as 5 minutes knows the last thing I’d ever need to steal is an idea.”
In response to Kanye’s accusation that she broke the NDA, she posted: “F**k an NDA.
“Sue me.”
The social media star also responded to Kanye’s claims that she now owes the Yeezy company more than $7 million.
When asked about the fine by a fan, she tweeted: “I dare Milo or any lawyers at YZY to try.”
On March 18, 2024, Kanye revealed he was suing YesJulz for $8 million.
The Flashing Lights singer took to Instagram Stories, which showed a copy of the lawsuit filed against the talent manager.
“Julianne Goddard has repeatedly, intentionally and grossly violated the terms of her Non-Disclosure Agreement with complainants including publicly disclosing corporate sales figures, social media strategies, text messages with Ye and management, release plans for Vultures album and product designs before release,” it read.
“To say Goddard suffers from a lack of impulse control would be to excuse her from responsibility for behavior that is hurtful, hateful, and destructive; it is to give her pattern of mendacious, malicious, manipulative outbursts a pass,” the lawsuit continued.
“Goddard freely acknowledges that she has violated the NDA and intends to do more.”
