ALIX Earle and Alex Cooper’s recent podcast drama has left fans noticing some clues behind their alleged rift.
Earle, 24, had been working with Cooper’s Unwell Network since August 2023, when she started her hit podcast Hot Mess.
But in recent days, Earle has been reportedly dropped – or decided to leave on her own accord, according to fans.
The Hot Mess podcast was reportedly dropped by Unwell – with claims of a feud between Cooper and Earle ramping up even more after months of rift rumors.
Call Her Daddy host Cooper’s media company released the rights to Earle’s podcast.
And now fans are figuring out clues behind why the two women are feuding.
Feud speculation first ramped up earlier this year when Earle notably missed the Unwell Super Bowl party in New Orleans in January.
Cooper also hasn’t promoted Earle or the podcast in recent months.
FEUD CLUES
Some fans believe the podcast was dropped, or that Alix left on her own, because she has outgrown podcasting.
“I think Earle doesn’t actually enjoy podcasting and wants to do other projects instead of getting pods out every week and that content isn’t her strong suit,” penned one person on TikTok.
Another added, “Alix Earle could care less she’s now bigger than Alex Cooper.”
A third wrote, “I like them both but I don’t think podcasting is the right outlet for Alix. I love her TikTok but couldn’t get through 10 minutes of her pod.”
Others speculated Earle has changed her image from a “hot mess” to more professional, which is off brand for the podcast.
While Earle shares her life with followers, she keeps intimate parts of her relationship with NFL boyfriend Braxton Berrios private.
A fan speculated over TikTok, “Alix is actually staying away from Alex Cooper because she doesn’t want her brand to be all about sex. You could tell how uncomfy she was during their podcast together.”
Another said, “Alix is more conservative in the sense that she’s not open about her sex life etc. Alex Cooper and Hallie are very raunchy and that’s their brand…
“Alix is going in a different direction and that’s okay.”
Another person penned, “Alix is classier than those with Unwell. Even her manager (her dad) made a comment when he was on Alix’s podcast, something along the lines of being more professional and less raunchy.”
PODCAST ‘PULLED FROM SCHEDULE’
Alix’s Hot Mess podcast was abruptly pulled from the Unwell’s schedule, according to SiriusXM sources who spoke with Variety.
The source said that Unwell renounced all rights to Hot Mess, so Earle could keep the name as she plots her next moves.
Earle was one of the first people to be signed by Cooper after the Call Her Daddy podcaster decided to expand her impressive media success.
She was brought on alongside social media darling Madeline Argy, who now models and hosts the show Pretty Lonesome.
Now, Unwell has nine total shows and is producing a hydrating beverage that’s sold at massive brands like Target.
Neither Earle nor Cooper have commented on the future of Hot Mess.
SiriusXM did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
DAVE TAKES SIDES
Barstool creator Dave Portnoy seemingly sided with Earle in the feud despite Cooper’s podcast Call Her Daddy airing there for years.
Portnoy posted a screenshot of a 22-minute phone call with Earle after the news broke and captioned the photo, “You can stop tagging me. I know what needs to be done.”
This is exactly what Cooper posted when she poached podcaster Grace O’Malley from Barstool last year.
Portnoy then confessed he didn’t actually call Earle and said, “I just thought it was funny.”
