During an interview with The Times in February 2024, Morgan announced that the show was leaving TalkTV to move to his YouTube channel due to the “unnecessary straightjacket” of television scheduling.
He said this prevented him from conducting in-depth interviews.
The show also moved due to poor viewing figures on TalkTV which were in the tens of thousands compared to the YouTube channel’s 2.7million subscribers.
He felt moving the programme to YouTube would enable him to build a global audience.
Pre-recorded episodes are published on the channel – with fans having to wait until they are officially released to watch them.
Viewers were left on the edge of their seats when they had to wait until 8pm on Thursday May 9, 2024 to watch the Fiona Harvey interview.
The show is still currently produced at the News UK Building in London.
Piers claimed the show is “the world’s fastest-growing current affairs Youtube channel”.
