The YouTuber was behind the wheel during the road incident in New York alongside Kick streamer N3on earlier this month.
Who is Squeeze Benz?
Squeeze Benz is a YouTuber and influencer who shot to fame for posting clips of him executing risky driving maneuvers.
He has amassed a following of over 300,000 subscribers on his YouTube channel.
His most viewed video sees him weaving in and out of New York’s Time Square at dangerously high speeds.
The clip has clocked up over four million views.
Why was Squeeze Benz arrested?
Squeeze Benz was nabbed by cops following a hit-and-run incident at the beginning of May.
Officers subsequently issued a stern warning to other influencers and motorheads.
Benz was dubbed a “prolific street racer” by the New York Police Department.
The NYPD’s Deputy Commissioner of Operations, Kaz Daughtry, confirmed the internet star’s arrest in a post on X on Tuesday.
“‘Squeeze.benz’ is in custody, thanks to NY’s Finest,” Daughtry wrote.
“One of the most prolific street racers in NYC can no longer treat the Big Apple like the Indy 500.
“To anyone thinking about putting themselves and others in danger, recklessly zooming through the streets of NYC, think again!
“You will be arrested and your car will be seized. You will face justice.”
Who is N3on?
It is the first time Squeeze Benz has collaborated with N3on.
The latter is the username of the popular streamer, influencer, and YouTuber who has over 830,000 subscribers on YouTube.
The streamer, whose real name is Rangesh Mutama, joined YouTube on May 6, 2016, and has amassed over 225 million views across 1,070 videos.
N3on began gaining popularity with Fortnite videos on YouTube before doing vlog-style videos and streams on Kick, where he has over 289,000 followers.
On March 13, 2024, N3on’s fans noticed that his Kick profile was no longer accessible. It was later revealed that he had been hit with a sudden ban.
The ban came after N3on allegedly threatened a minor on stream, according to Distractify.
Kick did not specify why the ban occurred, but N3on’s account was reinstated two days later.
N3on himself did not confirm the reason for the ban but he did post an apology video on his YouTube channel.
He said, “I understand why I got banned, and I understand the reasoning for it… but I want to say I’m sorry.
“I want to shout out to Kick for giving me another chance and always being there for me. I really appreciate you guys,” he added.
