POPULAR streamer N3on has had his fair share of controversies after gaining notoriety online.
After news of his arrest in Dubai broke in April 2024, many want to know who N3on is.
Who is streamer N3on?
N3on is the username of a popular streamer, influencer, and YouTuber who has over 830,000 subscribers on YouTube.
N3on, whose real name is Rangesh Mutama, joined YouTube on May 6, 2016, and has amassed over 225 million views across 1,070 videos.
N3on began gaining popularity with Fortnite videos on YouTube before doing vlog-style videos and streams on Kick, where he has over 289,000 followers.
Why was N3on banned from Kick?
On March 13, 2024, N3on’s fans noticed that his Kick profile was no longer accessible. It was later revealed that he had been hit with a sudden ban.
The ban came after N3on allegedly threatened a minor on stream, according to Distractify.
Kick did not specify why the ban occurred, but N3on’s account was reinstated two days later.
N3on himself did not confirm the reason for the ban but he did post an apology video on his YouTube channel.
He said, “I understand why I got banned, and I understand the reasoning for it… but I want to say I’m sorry.
“I want to shout out to Kick for giving me another chance and always being there for me. I really appreciate you guys,” he added.
What happened between N3on and Adin Ross?
While N3on and fellow streamer Adin Ross were once friends, their relationship has taken a turn for the worse.
After weeks of criticizing and insulting each other on social media, both streamers have expressed interest in settling their issues in a boxing ring.
The plans for a boxing match began in February 2024 when N3on said he would fight Ross in a stream.
“Adin wants to fight? Yeah right. Run it. Any time, any place, wherever the f**k please,” he said.
Ross then called N3on on stream to arrange the event and said, “I’m gonna hurt him.”
However, as of April 2024, a boxing match between the two has not taken place, and there have been no confirmed plans for one either.
In a turn of events, Adin showed public support for N3ON during an April 12, 2024, livestream following reports he and his girlfriend, Sam Frank, had been arrested in Dubai.
“The only thing I will say is it’s sticky. It’s a very sticky situation,” Ross said, adding, “It’s just hard right now. Man, people gotta stop talking about it.”
On April 17, N3ON broke his silence on his arrest by telling fans he had been detained by police for 37 hours after filming in “the areas we were not supposed to film.”
“It was a really crazy situation, bro, it was a really s**t situation,” he said.
