Alex, whose full name is Suk Min Choi, is a YouTuber and social media star.
He has attracted a huge following for his “car shenanigans”.
The vlogger was born in South Korea before moving to Los Angeles, and first started posting car stunts on Instagram in 2016.
He announced himself on YouTube a year later, where he has enjoyed equally large levels of fame.

What did Alex Choi do?
Alex is facing federal charges over a video that showed two women shooting fireworks from a helicopter at a Lamborghini.
The charges include causing the placement of an explosive or incendiary device on an aircraft.
The video, since removed, was titled “Destroying a Lamborghini With Fireworks”.
It showed the women firing towards the car from the gunner spot of the helicopter in the Mojave Desert.
It’s alleged that Choi didn’t seek or obtain Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approval for the social media stunt.
Choi is also accused of failing to secure an explosives license from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).
Choi was released on June 6, 2024 after posting a $50,000 bond, NBC reported.
According to the outlet, an affidavit states that the helicopter’s transponder was turned off during the time of filming.
It later reappeared on the radar, flying back to the airport that night, NBC says the affidavit states.
The helicopter pilot was stripped of his certification in January.
Choi is now scheduled for an arraignment on July 2, 2024
