INFLUENCER Lilah Gibney documented Hype House’s Alex Warren and Kouvr Annon’s wedding, and fans weren’t too happy about it.
The newlyweds also weren’t too happy about it and took to social media to comment their thoughts.

On Saturday, the Hype House stars tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in California.
Before the couple released professional footage of their own, influencer Lilah Gibney posted a six-minute vlog of the moment to her YouTube the following day.
The video was titled “I caught the bouquet at Alex and Kouvr’s WEDDING” and garnered over 40,000 views before they seemingly removed it from the platform.
Accompanied by the video were some behind-the-scenes moments via TikTok, which viewers didn’t seem too happy about.
A TikToker named Mattie (@mattiesbasement) posted a video on their thoughts on Lilah’s videos, saying, “Imagine it’s your turn to go talk to this bride and groom.
”’Oh my god, celebrating your love,’ and you’re like, ‘Wait, let’s vlog.'”
The couple responded to the video, with Kouvnr writing “Period” in agreement and Alex adding, “This is a very valid take.”
Other users chimed in, saying, “Lilah using THEIR wedding as a backdrop for her basically OOTD really got me.”
“The fact that I saw Alex and Kouvr’s wedding before they could even post literally was so disrespectful,” said another.
Following the 24 hours of backlash, Alex shared professional footage of their wedding on YouTube on June 24.

LILAH RESPONDS
On Tuesday, Lilah posted a video response via TikTok to share her side of the story.
The two-and-a-half-minute video was captioned, “Hate that I even have to make this, but here you go. All love always & I’m sorry if anyone thinks otherwise.”
She went on to say she “didn’t drive three hours to record their vows and disrespect anybody, so if ya’ll think that and Kounvr and Alex think that, honestly, from the bottom of my heart, I am sorry.”
Lilah continued to say she was solely there to celebrate the Hype House stars and said there wasn’t an “influencer wedding rule book.”
“There was no sign. No one said it was unplugged,” she continued.

“Multiple people asked. Multiple people in the wedding party asked, ‘Can I post? Is it okay if I post?’ Everybody said ‘yes.’
“There was multiple other content creators posting. I know you guys saw it,” she said.
Lilah went on to say that no one said that her vlogging was a problem at the time, and Alex and Kouvr didn’t reach out to her personally.
However, Lilah concluded that instead of “bullying” her about the situation, people should focus on the current anti-trans laws across the nation.
She apologized once more before concluding the video. At the time of writing, the video has garnered over 46,900 views.
KOUVR & ALEX’S BIG DAY
Regardless of the backlash, that didn’t stop the newlyweds from enjoying their big day.
Kouvr wore a long spaghetti-strapped gown designed by Galia Lahav, while Alex sported a beige suit.
Influencers such as Charli D’Amelio and Markell Washington were in attendance.
Kouvr shared the moment via Instagram with a series of photos throughout the wedding.
She captioned the post, “Officially a married woman.”
Her new hubby, Alex, also shared a series of posts on the social media app.
One post included Polaroid photos of the happy couple, with Alex saying, “I waited my entire life for this day.”
