A POPULAR live streamer has broken his silence after he was jailed in Dubai for over a day.
Last week, Rangesh “N3on” Mutama, 19, traveled to the country with his girlfriend, Sam Frank, when he suddenly stopped updating his social media.
Adin Ross, a fellow streamer, revealed that N3on had been detained by police, however, he was vague about the specifics.
“The only thing I will say is it’s sticky,” said Ross, 23. “It’s a very sticky situation.”
On April 17, N3on shared a selfie on X, formerly known as Twitter, sporting facial hair and his signature smile.
“IM BACK,” the tweet read.
Later that day, he went live on Kick and shared that he had been behind bars for 37 hours for filming “in the areas where we were not supposed to film.”
“It was a really crazy situation, bro, it was a really s**t situation,” he said.
“I was behind bars for approximately 37 hours or some s**t. The funny thing is, the motherf**kers down there knew me, bro. They knew me.”
N3on added that he was treated like “a king in there” and had gotten close with the other detainees.
“Some guys were telling some other s** that he did. Like, I was really hearing their stories and getting to know them, bro,” he said.
“I swear to god, they knew me! Wallahi!”
N3on also thanked Ross for “looking out” for him while he was detained.
“Adin, he was actually one of the people that actually did look out, bro, and I really appreciate that,” he said.
“He tried the hardest to get me out of that situation.”
KICKING OFF
Despite the pleasantries exchanged between N3on and Ross, who used to collaborate frequently with one another, the two haven’t always seen eye to eye.
Last year, Ross accused N3on’s girlfriend of cheating on him, saying she slept in bed with another man while at TwitchCon.
“I want people to really put it on god and tell me that she did not fly a guy out – she did not fly a guy out that night, in her hotel room, and sleep with him and f**k. OK?” Ross said during one of his livestreams.
“You had breakfast with that guy and you tried putting it on somebody’s tab! You had the audacity to eat breakfast with him, in front of everybody, and put it on somebody’s tab!”
However, N3on said he wasn’t worried about what other people thought of his relationship with Frank.
“I’ve learned to not give a f**k and live life to the fullest,” he said on an episode of Raw Talk with Bradley Martyn.
At the time, N3on said he still had love for Ross but recently they’ve been throwing insults at each other and their fans wanted to see them fight in a boxing ring.
“Adin wants to fight? Yeah right. Run it. Any time, any place, wherever the f**k please,” N3on said in February.
Ross called N3on during one of his streams to set up the match, saying that he would “hurt him,” however, N3on reportedly refused to go through with the match.
The U.S. Sun has reached out to N3on’s reps for comment.
