A controversial clip was posted by influencer Rosanna Pansino on X on July 24, according to The Independent.

MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, seemed to have made racist and homophobic comments at the start of his career.

A spokesperson for the YouTuber put out a statement that said the internet star had “repeatedly apologized” over the years.

“When Jimmy was a teenager he acted like many kids and used inappropriate language while trying to be funny,” the statement said.

The spokesperson said MrBeast understood that his fame and influence came with “increased responsibility to be more aware and more sensitive to the power of language.”

The statement further emphasized the YouTuber’s age when the comments were made.

“After making some bad jokes and other mistakes when he was younger, as an adult he has focused on engaging with the MrBeast community to work together on making a positive impact around the world,” the spokesperson added.

This comes following separate controversial incidents that have hit the YouTuber.

Another video from 2017 appeared to show MrBeast suggesting he would have sex with the rapper Bhad Bhabie, according to The Independent.

The musician, whose real name is Danielle Bregoli, was 14 at the time.

MrBeast’s podcast co-host, Leon Lush, posted a video defending the content creator over his previous comments.

STAFFER COMMENTS

A former co-host and employee for MrBeast, Ava Kris Tyson, recently had apparent grooming claims put out against her, The U.S. Sun has previously reported.

In the unrelated incident, the supposed online messages sent by Tyson to an alleged victim were revealed.

Tyson, 28, was accused of sending inappropriate messages to a minor eight years ago but she had denied any grooming claims.

Tyson was allegedly 20 when she sent these messages to a 13-year-old fan.

They allegedly messaged for several years on public online forums via Discord and X.

Messages reviewed by Rolling Stone reveal that the then-minor would call Tyson “big boy,” “dad,” and “sexy.”

The pair also reportedly discussed hentai, which is anime pornography.

Tyson’s co-host has since stepped down from her work on the channel and said sorry.

“I would like to apologize for any of my past behavior or comments if it hurt or offended people,” Tyson shared on X.

“It was not my intent.”
