YOUTUBER Ben Potter, known as Comicstorian online, has died at the age of 40.
His wife Nathalie Potter announced his death on X, formerly Twitter, using Cosmictorian’s official account.
“To many of you, he was Comicstorian, voicing stories from across multiple different mediums. To his loved ones, he was one of the best and most supportive individuals anyone could ask for. As a husband, a son, a brother, a friend, or even just a stranger, Ben was loving and genuine,” Nathalie said.
Fans rushed to the comments to honor Comicstorian with one writing, “Gutted one of the few YouTube channels I genuinely enjoyed. Seemed like a awesome guy, So Sorry for your loss.”
“RIP Benny. You will be sorely missed. Your knowledge of comics was excellent, your love for them was palpable. You had a great presentation style and made easy to watch, interesting and fun videos. All the best, my friend,” another wrote.
Nathalie added that he died on June 8 after an “unfortunate accident,” although an official cause of death is unclear at this time.
